Job Description

Cannon River STEM School, is currently seeking a licensed Kindergarten teacher who is a builder, designer, and lover of the great outdoors! If you are deeply committed to drawing out students' innate curiosity and joy while supporting students in their mental wellness and academic success - we would be thrilled to connect! This position will run through the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

Believe that kindness matters and kindness makes a difference.
Have a love for learning and sharing your learning with others.
Your approach to classroom management is relational first.
Have a Tier 3 or 4 teaching license, or the ability to be TIer 1 or Tier 2 qualified.
Hold an excellent track record of work attendance.

Cannon River STEM School is a K-8 charter school located on a 55 acre campus in Faribault just 30 miles south of the Twin Cities. With small classes and plenty of space to take learning outdoors, our school community fosters each student's innate curiosity and joy for learning. Celebrating 15 years, our education program utilizes the environment as our foundational teaching tool along with other student-centered teaching practices.
